The practical details

Plainly stated, because the alternative is finding out at an awkward moment.

Booking & deposits

Deposit: A non-refundable $50 deposit is required to book. It holds your appointment. Because it is non-refundable, it is stated here, on the booking page, and in your confirmation — you will never meet it for the first time after the fact.
Cancellation: Plans change, and that is fine with notice. Because appointments are one-to-one, a late cancellation means the time cannot be filled. Please give at least 24 hours. Inside that window, the full service price is charged.
No-shows: A missed appointment with no call is charged the full service price. It is the same slot either way, and it is one that someone else could have used.
Running late: There is a 10-minute grace period. Beyond it the appointment is shortened to protect the booking after yours, and the full price still applies. Tell us as soon as you know — we would rather adjust than rush.
Mobile service: Let Purpose Skin Motion bring the luxury experience to you. Mobile appointments require a $150 minimum, with an additional travel fee quoted at booking based on your location and appointment time.
Prebooking: Book your next appointment in person before you leave and take 10% off that service.

Intake: Every booking includes an intake and contraindication screening. It exists so the treatment is right for your skin on the day, and so nothing is attempted that should not be.
Honesty helps: Medications, recent procedures, allergies and skin conditions all change what is appropriate. Nothing here is judged; it only changes what is recommended.
Some treatments require screening: Peels and certain advanced treatments are not bookable without consultation first. That is a safeguard, not a formality.
What this is not: Esthetic services care for the appearance and condition of skin. They are not medical treatment, and nothing offered here diagnoses or treats a medical condition. For anything medical, see a physician.

Your photographs: No image of you is taken or used without your written consent, recorded at your appointment. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.
Before-and-after images: Never retouched, filtered or altered. A result that needs editing is not a result.
Your information: Contact details, intake answers and appointment history are kept to provide your care and are not sold or shared. You can ask for a copy or for deletion at any time.
Marketing: Email and text are opt-in, separately, and you are never added by default. Every message has a way out, and once you use it you are not added back.

The address: Sent with your booking confirmation rather than published. It is an appointment-only space.
Guests: Appointments are one-to-one. Please come alone unless arranged beforehand.
If you are unwell: Reschedule. There is no penalty for being considerate.
