What we hold, and why
Short version: we collect what we need to give you an appointment and care for your skin safely. We do not sell it, we do not track you around the internet, and you can have it deleted.
Last updated 9 October 2026
What we collect
- When you book
- Your name, email address and phone number. If you ask for mobile service, the address you want us to come to. Anything you write in the notes field.
- At your appointment
- Intake and contraindication answers — medications, allergies, recent procedures, skin conditions — and notes on what was done, so the next visit builds on the last one.
- If you pay online
- Nothing. Card details are entered on Stripe's own checkout page and never reach us or this website. We see that a payment succeeded, the amount, and the last four digits.
- When you visit this site
- Our host keeps standard server logs — IP address, page, time, browser — for security and diagnostics. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel, and no tracking across other sites.
- Cookies
- This site sets none of its own. The booking calendar on /book is embedded from Cal.com and sets its own cookies to make the calendar work; that is the only one.
- Photographs
- Only with your written consent, recorded at the appointment, and never as a condition of treatment. Consent can be withdrawn at any time — see consent.
Who else handles it
These are the only companies that touch your information, and each one only sees the part it needs.
- Cal.com
- Runs the booking calendar. Sees your name, email, phone, notes and appointment times.
- Stripe
- Processes payments. Sees your card and billing details directly; we never do.
- Vercel
- Hosts this website and keeps the server logs described above.
- Cloudflare & Resend
- Route and send our email. Sees messages between us.
- Our mailbox is Gmail, so email you send us is stored there. Google also serves the typefaces this site uses, which means your browser requests them from Google and Google sees your IP address when it does.
- Nobody else
- We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising. We would disclose it only if the law required it.
Your choices
- Marketing
- Email and text are opt-in separately, and you are never added by default. Every message has a way out, and once you use it you are not added back.
- Appointment messages
- Confirmations and reminders are part of the service rather than marketing, so they are sent whether or not you opt in. Tell us if you would rather have them only by email.
- See it, correct it, delete it
- Ask and we will send you a copy of what we hold, fix anything wrong, or delete it. Email purposeskinmotion@gmail.com.
- One limit on deletion
- Treatment and consent records are kept as long as Georgia law and our insurer require, because they are the record of care you received. Everything else goes.
- Children
- This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their information. Clients under 18 need a parent or guardian present and consenting.
Keeping it
- How long
- Contact details and appointment history for as long as you are a client and a reasonable period after, so we can pick up where we left off. Treatment and consent records as above. Server logs for a short period.
- How it is protected
- Accounts are protected with strong, unique passwords and two-factor authentication where the service offers it. No system is perfect, and we would rather say that than imply otherwise.
- If this changes
- The date at the top changes with it. A change that affects how we use what we already hold is told to you directly, not buried here.
